Circa: The Fey open gates from Faerie to Abeir-Toril, allowing the first elves to cross over and settle, as part of an effort to undermine the power of the dragons. However, the primitive green elves are happy to exist as small, scattered tribes, and they worship the Faerie gods (not the Seldarine), while one tribe, the Ilythiiri negotiates with the dragons. The Ilythiiri develop a small, southern kingdom, and found the capital, Atorrnash.
