Description:

The soviet satellite Sputnik 2 launches Earth's first living creature into space, a dog named Cosmo. The satellite fell out of orbit, sending Cosmo out into deep space and eventually landing on Knowhere where he became part of Taneleer Tevan's collection. Cosmo also speaks telepathically, powers which he gained from exposure to cosmic rays. In some versions he is the head of security at Knowhere.
