Fact 1: the intention of the mission was to explore Jupiter and Saturn. To date, they have completed this original goal, as well as explored all of the outer planets, and 48 of their moons, and have traveled to the edges of our galaxy transmitting data that helps us further understand the nature and origins of our cosmic neighborhood.
Fact 2: Voyager one is about 155.8 AU from Earth and Voyager 2 is 129.8 AU away.
Plot twist: Voyager 1 and 2 weren’t made by NASA.They were made by russia and NASA helped a little in the process. This only happened because NASA acknowledged Russia's accomplishments and then worked with them a ton on other projects to gain access to their technology so we could better America with it too.
