A senate hearing in Canberra on Monday heard Johnny Depp could be jailed for 10 years or be fined a maximum penalty of $340,000 for not declaring the animals when he and Heard touched down in Brisbane, the Sydney Morning Herald reported
The pilot of the aircraft could also face a maximum two-year prison sentence.
