John Lesher (a producer on Black Mass):
I called you. He didn’t show up; very upsetting. Hopefully we will be there tomorrow. We have to pay the stage even if he doesn’t come.
TJ then speculated this could have been for a make-up test although the film was made in 2014!
TJ agreed that JD was late and tardy during the filming of Black Mass and that she tried to step in to resolve the situation.
N.B. This is very odd, Johnny Depp had finished filming Black Mass some time ago and was still signed off sick from Pirates.This could have been a reshoot, an extra scene (such as the ending as the older man) or maybe a promotional video for CINEMACON and other festivals Johnny Depp would miss whilst in Australia.
