may 7, 1789 - the battle of town's bridge

Description:

with his armies, jonathan atkins, son of the late king robert and nephew of jon the tyrant, meets his uncle's troops at a bridge crossing the heely river called town's bridge
according to legend, crows circled above jon, and as jonathan approached him, both armies parted like water to a rock, all whilst they never stopped fighting
jon gets the upper hand, but jonathan slams a rock into his face and kills him
he takes the rock back as a symbol of victory, and at his crowning, he kissed it and declared it a weapon unlike any other
every reigning monarch must now kiss it as part of the ceremony
