- along the way he was attacked by a bunch of tribesmen

- when he arrived, he found MORE treasure
the wealth that alexander took from the persians fueled the eastern economy for 400 years lol

- burned it down

- alexander was told by his courtesan that she’d like to see a bonfire, and the city was torched (idk if that's true)
