feb 13, 11566 BC - the birth of the unholy trinity

ok so vorr is running away from cian
she's very pregnant and it's not going well
she runs to where they initially found the bunker with the journal
he catches up to her quickly before she can go down there and she pleads with him to let go of this idea of his, that he can still come back, they can make everything alright again
but cian is beyond reasoning with and doesn't bite
he doesn't want to hurt her but he also thinks he's saving the world, so when she tries to stop him with her magic (she fails bc she's weak, she's pregnant and just ran a long way, give her a break) he stabs her
he's sorry about it, but he leaves her bleeding out on the forest floor
then maiv, one of the survivors of the flood and vorr's friend (she's also a priestess), comes along and heals vorr with her magic, pulling the mangled child out of her
or maybe vorr does this herself, idrk
it doesn't matter
vorr is devastated to see her twisted child and she uses what strength she has left to stop its first and last breath
she takes the brain and makes markos, then the heart and makes iain, and then the only breath her baby ever breathed and made aden from it
this is some arcane, dark sort of magic and maiv is all 'don't to this, this is not natural' to which vorr replies 'idgaf' bc she's pissed and powerful
she buries what is left of her baby (or maybe they're an altar above the entrance to the bunker and she puts it on the altar, idk) and curses cian that so long as their child still lives, he'll be powerless, he'll have no magic of his own, and he won't be able to bring about the next cataclysm (the fourth and final one before the final final cataclysm)
and then she collapses
maiv and the rest of the survivors take her somewhere to help her heal
btw, maiv and everyone who survived will become the faeries :)
so they've literally been around since the flood
