Description:

A black teenager went for a swim in Lake Michigan when he accidentally happened to drift towards a beach where whites stoned him unconscious. This caused him to sink and drown resulting in his death. The blacks were angry, so they gathered in crowds and marched into white neighborhoods. The whites would then form even bigger crowds and march into black neighborhoods. In total, more than 120 people died in the riots.
