I believe that some day, a child will be born who has the ability to speak the language of the animals. I can see him/her coming from an ancient culture that hasn’t lost all contact with Nature and is relatively untouched by modern technology. This child will grow up surrounded by trees and flowers and different animals, in a harmonious relationship with themselves, with their families and tribe members and Nature while soaking up the knowledge that his/her ancestors collected for thousands of years. I see this child trusted by the animals, I see as s(he) listens intently to their pleas as they describe the horrible things humans have done with animals for millenniums and the extreme scale of the pollution and destruction that has been done in the name of technological advancement in the last couple hundred years. Armed by the gathered knowledge and a passion for Nature, this child will then start a journey to organize all the animals in a quest to take back what is left from the beautiful place we call Earth, a tiny blue dot in the Universe that is so important for every creature that lives here. I cannot see violence. What I see is animals working together – many of them are very smart, but even those that are not, can execute simple tasks as researchers are still surprised to find every time they look for signs of animal intelligence – following a common plan, almost invisibly – as nobody, except the child will think that they are capable of planning or doing complex tasks – with the help from the forces of Nature: the winds, the Sun, mountains, oceans, rivers, plants and others, animals will take over the control from humans because they, instead of cherishing the treasures of the natural world, abused it for hundreds of years. I believe in our modern world, that is so addicted to technological devices, it would be enough to delete all financial data from the central computers where they are kept electronically to so stop humans relying on money. When money disappears, human beings would certainly feel lost for a while but then, freed from the burden of the never-ending chase for money, they would look around to see what humanity has done in the name of technological progress. The child would translate the message of the animals, asking humans to go back to their roots, find connection to Nature again, clean up pollution, heal the wounds of Earth and work together with animals in the creation of a harmonious world, where every tiny molecule is equally important.
