Description:

Centibots project funded by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA)
They tried to prove 100 robots could survey a potentially dangerous area and could build a map in real time and seek items of interest.
They communicated with each other to coordinate their effort, if one failed another would take over their task.
