Pong is widely regarded as one of the earliest and most iconic arcade games ever made. Whilst by no means the first computer game ever made, Pong was one of the first to reach widespread popularity. Pong is credited with helping to establish the video game industry along with the first home console, the Magnavox Odyssey.
