Description:
during the fall of 1918 it was clear that the central powers were going to loose. They had few men left, hardly any artillery, and no tanks left. Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria and the Ottoman Empire had already surrendered but Germany went as long as possible. Finally the morning of November 11th the Great War came to an end. The German chancellor, Prince Max von Baden, sent delegates to Compiegne, France to negotiate terms of surrender. The agreement was signed at 5:10 AM.
