Description:
Two Italian men, Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti were accused robbing and murdering a paymaster for a shoe company in Braintree, Massachusetts. Both were tried and found guilty of this crime. They were both seen as anarchists and were sentenced to death. Sporadic protests were held demanding for their release, however the Supreme Court refused to upset the verdict. On August 23, 1921, Sacco and Vanzetti were electrocuted to death.
