Description:

For the second time that Autumn, Von Papen requested that Hindenburg dissolve the Reichstag and call an election to preempt a motion of no confidence expected to pass.
The Nazi Party vote fell slightly but they remained the largest party.
The defence minister Von Schleicher was appointed Chancellor and attempted to negotiate with the left wing Nazis (led by Strasser) but they were quickly disempowered by Hitler.
Hitler then engaged in coalition talks with Von Papen.
