12h 23min, jan 1, 1773 y - Tea Act 1773
Description:
The Stamp and the Sugar acts were both not enough to help the British war debt. Another act was put in place to put even more taxes on the colonists. The Tea act put a tax on all tea that was exported and imported. The tax imposed was to try and help save the East India company from bankruptcy. Once colonists found out, they became angered and soon led to boycotts and rebellions.
