jan 16, 1919 - 18th Amendment
Description:
The 18th Amendment prohibited the making, selling, and transporting of intoxicating liquor, but not for those who have private possession or have it for their own consumption. This amendment was passed because man would get drunk and beat their wives, kids, or go out and do crazy things. Once this was final the crime rate dropped, and so did abuse in families.
