Description:
Sir Francis Drake had returned to England from the New World and he brought with him two plants never before seen in Europe, the potato and tobacco. The receptionof the plants echoed throughout all of Europe. It spread fast like Wildfire. The potato was seen as a poisonous plant but tobacco was received with lots of praise.
