The Irish Rebellion of 1641 was an uprising by Irish Catholics in the Kingdom of Ireland, who wanted an end to anti-Catholic (protestants mainly) discrimination, greater Irish self-governance, and to partially or fully reverse the plantations of Ireland. The rebels eventually founded the Irish Catholic Confederacy. also the Catholics would run into protestant villagers and kill their babies, children and other members of their community. this rebellion group stop fighting in may of 1642 so just 7 months of fighting. ending with an Irish victory with all the English leaving.
