jan 1, 1550 BC - Temple of Amun Re and Hypostyle Hall

Description:

Had a lot of temples and chapels. A place for god (Amun Re) to dwell on Earth and where priests resided. Also included kitchens, a sacred lake, and workshops. Had a tall obelisk made by a female pharaoh. Also featured tent pole columns, evidence of war. Had a very impressive hypostyle hall which was a hall held up by pillars. The temples shows the passing of time or the creation of the world. It gently sloped upward to show time and stuff. No open access.
