Based on an oil painting by Liu chunhua and it was made to attempt to spread communist ideologies. These paintings were based on Soviet Union paintings. The paintings were made to showcase how Mao was a revolutionary leader for the people. Mao was the founding father of the People’s Republic of China. The miners strike of 1922 presented a critical moment when chairman Mao went out on a nonviolent protest of the suffering of the masses. The miners joined Mao’s cost and his army.
