may 10, 1773 - Tea Act is Passed

Description:

The Tea Act removed tax on tea. But, this only applied to the British. By reducing the tax, it gave them an advantage of selling tea. Colonists were angry and some even planned to boycott tea. This lead to the Boston Team Party, which took place a couple of months later.
