Description:
Japan and China have always had their differences and only a small body of water separating one another. Their locations only added to the tension and in 1931, Japan invaded a region in china that was rich in resources. The rest of the world was shocked with this act of violence, and worldwide protests began. The purpose of the invasion was for Japan to grow and become a world power, they were not going to listen to the requests of Europe and the US. Japan realizes that the rest of the world has yet to do something about their conquest to Manchuria, so they begin constructing a larger navy and military, that is the importance this invasion had in WW2.
