Contained the sculpture of Athena Nike celebrating victory
Athena associated with victory and battle

Very Constrained space made people fear of falling off so the built a parapet (railing)
Parapet was carved with a series of small figures one of which is Nike adjusting her sandal
Parpet no taller than 4 ft, kind of railing where you could walk that faced walkway up
Carved in high relief, figured seem relaxed and even balanced
