Description:

On April 18, 1775, Paul Revere was instructed to ride to Lexington, Massachusetts by Dr. Joseph Warren in order to warn Samuel Adams and John Hancock of the English troops intending to arrest them. After crossing the Charles River, Paul Revere rode through Lexington on a horse to warn Adams and Hancock. Revere was later joined by Dr. Samuel Prescott and William Dawes, who were all captured & freed or escaped from the British.
