mar 18, 1766 - The Stamp Act is Repealed
Description:
Parliament believed that the army should enforce the Stamp Act. But, after many protests, attacks and boycotts from colonists the Act was repealed in 1766. Colonists argued that it was taxation without representation. This caused the Declaratory Acts to be passed. These Acts gave total legislative power over the colonies.
