Description:
19 year long war between North and South Vietnam. However, it is considered a proxy war fought between communist countries like the Soviet Union and China, and anti-communist countries like America and South Korea. About 10 years into the war, Americans began to oppose America's involvment and wanted out of this violent war. American involvment in the war ended In 1973 due to the Paris Peace Accords.
