Description:

President Lincoln was in the president's box at Ford’s Theater in Washington D.C. when the actor John Wilkes Booth entered the box, no one thinking anything of it because he was so famous, and shot Lincoln in the back of the head. Booth then proceeded to jump onto the stage and escape through the back door and was off on horseback.
