These two are regarded as the very first proprietary systems to be created and helped in becoming a further stepping stone towards multi user sharing networks, giving a more wide range of things to look up like the news and such. This also surprisingly helped with the creation of the Internet. CompuServe, amazingly, lasted until 2017 when it finally was shut down but by 1997, it had begun transferring use onto the Internet and this kick started its decline. The Source lasted until 1989 when it was shut down after being brought by CompuServe.Added to timeline:
