Description:

Word War I began with the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Following a series of events, on month after the assassination, Austria- Hungary declares war on Serbia. Because of alliances Russia backed Serbia and then Germany declared war on Russia to protect Austria. Then in order to protect Russia, France declared war on Germany which led to the invasion of Belgium and the entrance of Great Britain into the war against Germany.
