He was the first Earl of Stanford and was
knighted by Charles's dad James the first in 1611 he supported King Charles 1632 to 1640 he was an important advisor that worked inside the government that will keep an eye on it and report back to Charles of what was happening he got punished and impeached and sent off the ireland in 1633 as a punishment to be a leader which sounds alright but in these times was not because of how the broken ireland was but Thomas did his best and started a really good system an environment within the ireland. he died in 1641
