mar 22, 1874 - 牡丹社事件

Description:

日本以1871年八瑤灣事件殺害琉球族為由出兵攻打台灣南部原住民各部落
這起事件是日本自從明治維新以來首次對外用兵。
最後清廷與日本簽訂《北京專約》，撫恤難民及購買日軍修築之房舍道路
清廷更承認日本的行動為「保民義舉」，給予日後的日本吞併琉球國以口實。
