Anodyne releases the worlds first desktop supercomputer, which utilizes the nervous tissue of the Permian Basin Superorganism. The system, called the AD-1 (with Organic Tissue Interface Technology), can perform 8 million Floating Point Operations Per Second (FLOPS), 4TB Memory, 12GB RAM.
This is considerably advanced, especially for 1984.
