18h 38min, apr 6, 1862 y - Shiloh
Description:
The Battle of Shiloh took place between April 6th to April 7th and was surprisingly quick from the viewpoint of both sides. It began when Confederate forces led a surprise attack on Ulysses S. Grant and stifled some of the Union forces completely. The Union forces fought back and eventually forced the Confederate soldiers to retreat and get a victory. This battle was important because it showed the true gruesome of this war and both sides didn’t realize that. It led to the next battle of Shenandoah.
