jun 28, 1919 - Treaty of Versailles

Description:

World War I officially ended when the Treaty of Versailles was signed by all of the nations that were involved in the war. The plan for what to do with Germany after the war caused tons of question and debate. Woodrow Wilson advised everyone using the 14 points, but in the end countries in Europe wanted nothing more than to punish Germany. So, the Treaty of Versailles was solely based on repairing Europe and making Germany pay for most of it. This is what eventually led to the German population being angered with the European nations and America and the rise of Adolf Hitler.
