Description:
On August 18th 1920, the 19th amendment was ratified to the United States constitution granting women all throughout America the right to vote. During this time, there was so much change going on and the leading women suffragists were Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, and Lucy Stone they became so important in the movement. This amendment officially change everything by making it illegal for any citizen, regardless of gender, to be denied the right to vote.
