- Muslim league members met and prepared proposals which were accepted in Madras session in 1927 December

- Proposals were:
# join electorates with reserved seats for Muslims
# 1/3rd representation in central legislative assembly
# representation of Muslims in Bengal and Punjab based on population ***not accepted by Hindu Mahasabha***
# formation of new Muslim majority province - Sindh, Baluchistan and NWFP ***not accepted by Hindu Mahasabha***
