Description:
The last concentration camp to be liberated was Buchenwald. Buchenwald was liberated by the U.S a few days after German troops began evacuating camps. This concluded the end of the Holocaust and saved the lives of millions in the camps. this event also lead to the death of Hitler-he was afraid of what would happen to him so he committed suicide before they could get to him.
