Japan invades Manchuria China on September 18 1931. Japan wanted to invade China because of the rich areas of iron and coal. But also due to the over population in Japan. They needed more land to accommodate their citizen's. Since the U.s had put a halt on the goods exported to Japan used that as one of their motives behind the attack on Pearl Harbor.Added to timeline:
