may 25, 1787 - Constitutional Convention

Description:

The Constitutional Convention, which took place in Philadelphia, was meant to revise the failing Articles of Confederation, ended up creating an entirely new Constitution. There was debate about some main point about it, such as having stronger state vs. federal government, unicameral vs. bicameral legislature, one executive or multiple, but the Constitutional that came out of it is still in use today, with a few amendments.
