16h 15min, oct 26, 1774 y - First Continental Congress
Description:
The First Continental Congress was a meeting with twelve of the thirteen Colonies (56 delegates) in order to discuss united resistance against the British. They met at Carpenter’s Hall in Pennsylvania. They put together the Association of 1774 which was basically a non-importation act. It urged all the Colonies to stop using British goods, and to form committees to enforce this. This was important because it made the British upset and led the British to attack at the battle of Lexington and Concord.
