Description:
The Colonies were angered by the British Intolerable acts so they decided to go back to non-importation, which means not importing any British goods. They wanted to return to non-importation in order to get the British to respect their sovereignty. This was important because other states didn’t want to do this, they wanted to meet with all the colonies to discuss united resistance. This led to the First Continental Congress.
