Description:
The Boston Tea Party was a protest act by the American colonists against the taxation on tea. They were very unhappy with the treatment from the British, especially the pass of the tea act, so they disguised as Indians and boarded a ship. Sam Adams and the Sons of Liberty threw 342 chests of tea overboard. In turn, the British Parliament passed the Coercive acts/ Intolerable acts to punish the American Colonists.
