All the earlier events had a great impact on this last event in the revolution, namely the Declaration of Independence of The United States of America. The copies of the declaration that Jefferson wrote and got approved by the congress were sent out to all the colonies to read. This is why we until this day celebrate the 4th of July why all these events and fighting were worth it.
