mar 28, 1774 - Road to Revolution: Intolerable/Coercive Act

Description:

Due to the Boston Tea Party the British wanted the colonists to pay, in response they closed the trade in Boston Harbour until the owners of the tea were compensated. The intent of the acts was to reaffirm British authority over the American colonies. This was important as the colonist became more and more against the british rulers and formed a unity. From the earlier event they had both emotional and political reasons.
