dec 16, 1773 - Road to Revolution: Tea Act

Description:

The earlier event in Boston lead to the fact that the only tax left on imports was tea. The Tea Act is when the parliament makes the British East India Company the only company allowed to import tea into the colonies. This gave an unfair advantage in selling their tea in America. People boycotted the British tea and this Tea Act was very important to the Boston Tea Party that will happen after this.
