mar 18, 1766 - Road to Revolution: Repeal of the Stamp Act

Description:

As a result of the Stamp Act and all the protest it created it began to hurt the British businesses. As the act was repealed the colonists abandoned their ban on the british goods. But the Parliament in Britain still wanted to tax the colonists somehow and the same day as the Stamp Act was repealed they decided that they had the right to make laws and taxes in the colonies. This lead to the next event where the British continue to tax other items.
