Description:
After reaching the Yalu River, they were met by 300,000 Chinese forces, pushing back both U.N. and South Korean forces. MacArthur wanted to now start an invasion against China, however Truman wanted to have a limited war, or fight to only achieve specific goals. He was enraged and sent a letter to the House Republican leader about Truman's policies. When the letter became public he was fired by Truman for insubordination.Added to timeline:
