"Democracy – Double Victory, At Home - Abroad". This was a slogan created to fuel the fight for democracy for African Americans in America and while at war. It was first introduced in an issue of the Pittsburgh Courier, an African American news paper. This campaign fought to end segregation for African Americans, in the war and outside of it.
