President Abraham Lincoln was shot by the well known actor John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln gto shot while he was attending a play called Our American Cousin at the Ford Theatre in Washington DC. John Wilkes Booth killed him by shooting him in the back of his head. John was a Confederate sympathizer and was scared of the south losing unless something big would happen.Added to timeline:
